I am a child psychiatrist and antiracist warrior based in LA. My clinical care blends kismet, knowledge, and biomedicine to psychiatric fairy godmother in children, adults, and families’ lives. I write extensively about antiracist clinical care and the imperative to give people the full informed consent about the harms baked into (mental) health “care” that is uncaring and careless. I am presently launching my Antiracism in Mental Health Fellowship while developing my first book about How They Train Us (Doctors) to Be Monsters. My goals in life are to be featured in Vogue Street Style and to win Macarthur Genius Fellow award to gut and overhaul the entire medical educational system. Phakiso “Kiki” Collins is a multi disciplinary storyteller and executive producer from Greensboro, NC now residing in Brooklyn, NY. She's provided creative vision and leadership to some of the country’s top production companies in the span of her 19 year career. Most recently, as VP at MTVE Studios Phakiso oversaw multiple series and development projects across VH1, Comedy Central, MTV, and Smithsonian networks. Phakiso has centered much of unscripted television work on expanding the narrative from which we see and advocating for stories ( and creating behind the scenes cultures) that humanize, entertain and uplift. As a facilitator and independent artist she's curated several initiatives and performances aiming to heal and empower Black women and girls in their bodies. Founding Fluid Underbelly, a boutique multi media production company, my vision is to use media, dance, and wholeness advocacy to create more and more safe spaces for freedom.

I am a retired private school educator who worked in both the diversity and computer science fields. I had the pleasure of being employed in both day and boarding schools. I am currently on a new journey to help other Black women who are ready to live the BEST rest of their lives. I will focus on joy, peace and rediscovery at a time when most people think we should be sitting around waiting to be taken care of. Travel, self-care and freedom experiences are my priority.
